About the Hotel
This triple glazed, four-star hotel was originally built to accommodate British Airways crew before being opened to the public and rebranded as a Hyatt Place. It was launched in 1999 by entrepreneur and hotelier Surinder Arora as the inaugural Arora Group property. The hotel has 341 rooms, a 24-hour gym, meeting rooms, a restaurant, bar and 24-hour room service.
Overlooking the north runway 27R, it is a favourite with aviation enthusiasts, Heathrow pilots and business travellers alike. See here for the airport runway in use schedule.

Getting There

Local bus: Routes 423 and U3 stop outside the hotel with service to Terminals 2/3 and 5. See full public transport details here.
Taxi or Uber: 5–10 minute journey depending on terminal and traffic. When you book an Uber, the total you see includes the Heathrow terminal drop off charge - see below.

TIP: We do not generally recommend using third-party Hotel Hoppa buses, as they tend to be more expensive and often make multiple stops at other hotels, resulting in longer journey times.

For the Hyatt Place, the Hotel Hoppa H5B bus goes to a further six hotels in the opposite direction before returning to Terminal 5. The journey is published at 40 minutes compared with 6 minutes for a 423 bus at a fraction of the price. Pilots who regularly stay here use local buses.

Summary
To quote the hotel founder Surrinder Arora talking about his objective - "a four-star hotel with three and a half-star prices and five-star service". Excellent value, particularly if using our direct booking link.
