T5 is packed with diverse dining options to suit every taste, whether you're in the mood for a quick snack, a hearty meal, or a luxurious dining experience before your flight. We have not included coffee outlets which are available both landside and airside.

Fortnum's Bar​

At the southern end of Terminal 5 Departures, the Fortnum’s Bar features an elegant island bar where travellers can enjoy a selection of fresh, high-quality dishes inspired by Fortnum and Mason’s renowned Food Halls. The menu caters to every taste, offering options like crumpets, caviar, shellfish, charcuterie, salads, and indulgent desserts - all thoughtfully designed to be light and flight-friendly. Guests can choose from an extensive drink selection, including the obligatory Champagne, fine wines, expertly crafted cocktails, premium spirits, fresh juices and Fortnum’s signature coffee and tea. Gordon Ramsay Plane Food

A staple of T5 dining, Gordon Ramsay Plane Food offers high quality British and international cuisine with a modern twist. Whether you're after a sit-down meal or a grab and go option, Plane Food is perfect. Try their signature short rib burger or their fresh seasonal dishes, all while enjoying views of the airfield.

Pilots Bar & Kitchen​

Inspired by the golden age of air travel, Pilots Bar & Kitchen is a vintage-themed brasserie, offering British classics like fish and chips, hearty breakfasts and comforting pies. It’s a perfect family-friendly option with something for everyone. Find them opposite Gate A19 at the southern end of the airside departures area. Details can be found on the Pilots Bar website.

Itsu​

If sushi or light, healthy meals are more your style, Itsu is a fantastic choice. They serve fresh sushi, salads and hot dishes like gyoza and miso soup, catering to those looking for something delicious and nutritious. If BA catering isn’t your thing then why not take your own. You will be in good company as Itsu is well used by BA crew before their flights. They are airside, near gate A15 with menu here.

Wagamama​

Craving Asian inspired comfort food? Wagamama offers a variety of fresh and flavourful dishes, from steaming bowls of ramen to hearty katsu curries with plenty of veggie and vegan options. Their quick service makes it an excellent choice if you're short on time. The restaurant is now open for breakfast from 05:30 and is airside in departures on the upper level.

Giraffe​

Giraffe in Heathrow Terminal 5 is a casual dining restaurant offering a range of international dishes. See Giraffe menu here which includes breakfast options, burgers, salads and Asian-inspired dishes. It is located on the upper level of departures, after security. The restaurant provides table service and a bar area. Vegetarian and vegan options are available. Service is generally quick, catering to travellers with limited time. Prices are higher than high-street locations, in line with airport dining.

The Crown Rivers​

'spoons fans won't be disappointed in T5. This busy restaurant is on the lower departures level near gate A6 (and the children's play area - just around the corner).

Finally, the only proper restaurant before going through security.

The Globe Pub & Kitchen (landside)​

The Globe is a pub-style restaurant on the departures level before security, offering a selection of classic British dishes, including fish and chips, burgers and sandwiches; alongside a range of beers, wines and spirits. The venue has a relaxed atmosphere with seating for individuals and groups. Service is designed for travellers, with a focus on efficiency. Prices reflect the airport location and seating availability can vary depending on the time of day.
