Location
The Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport is centrally located on the A4 Bath Road, just a mile from Terminals 2, 3 and 5. It is easily accessible by local buses including the 105, 111 and 423, or by taxi, with convenient road links via the M4 and M25.
About the Hotel
This triple glazed, four-star hotel was originally built to accommodate British Airways crew before being opened to the public and rebranded as a Hyatt Place. It was launched in 1999 by entrepreneur and hotelier Surinder Arora as the inaugural Arora Group property. The hotel has 341 rooms, a 24-hour gym, meeting rooms, a restaurant, bar and 24-hour room service.

Rates typically range from £80 to £105 per night for two guests, though as with all Heathrow hotels, prices can be significantly higher during busy periods. The hotel often sells out completely, so early booking is recommended.

Rooms and Comfort
Originally designed for British Airways crew, the property is built to a high specification. Triple-glazed windows and blackout curtains ensure a quiet, restful stay while south-facing rooms on higher floors offer excellent views of the north runway. Rooms are modern, practical and generously sized with a refined finish and attention to detail. Amenities include a desk, tea/coffee facilities (fresh milk available on request*), fridge, safe, iron and ironing board and a large TV. King bed rooms feature a chaise longue sofa and higher category rooms provide airside views.* For BTA members.
Getting There
Local bus: Routes 423 and U3 stop outside the hotel with service to Terminals 2/3 and 5. See full public transport details here.
Taxi or Uber: 5–10 minute journey depending on terminal and traffic. When you book an Uber, the total you see includes the Heathrow terminal drop off charge - see below.
For the Hyatt Place, the Hotel Hoppa H5B bus goes to a further six hotels in the opposite direction before returning to Terminal 5. The journey is published at 40 minutes compared with 6 minutes for a 423 bus at a fraction of the price. Pilots who regularly stay here use local buses.
Breakfast is served from 06:00 to 10:30 daily.

While the Hyatt's Gallery Restaurant is highly rated for food quality and attentive service, there are also several convenient nearby options for dining outside the hotel. The White Horse Pub, built in 1534, is about a 20-minute walk away and provides a complimentary pick-up/drop-off service, perfect for guests seeking an authentic traditional British pub experience. For Indian cuisine, Zayani Restaurant is just a 5-minute walk. If you want a quick breakfast or sandwich outside the hotel, BJ's Sandwich Bar is also a 5-minute walk and is open from 05:30 to 15:00 (closed Saturdays and Sundays).
