The review

The former Park Inn, built in the 1960s, is now two hotels in one 900 room building: the Radisson and the Radisson RED. The RED side is the design-led half, with bold interiors and a younger feel. Both sides share the indoor pool, gym, sauna, steam room and spa. Rooms start at around £100 and the RED is normally £10 to £20 more than the Radisson side.

Situated on the A4 Bath Road, north of Heathrow, under ten minutes by taxi or local bus to Terminals 2 and 3.

The RED side has a casual bar and lounge area as well as meeting rooms. The Radisson Hotel and Conference Centre has capacity for up to 700 participants and is accessed through the main entrance. Typical guests include overnight leisure travellers and younger business guests who value modern aesthetics and simplicity over traditional luxury.

Summary

A large modern hotel offering comfortable rooms with access to wellness facilities and convenient for Terminals 2 and 3. Best suited to those looking for contemporary style at a mid-range price.

Worth knowing

Check in and out

Check in from 15:00. Check out by 12:00.

Driving in from the M4

Stay in the left lane at the end of the motorway spur and take the first exit left, otherwise you are funnelled into the airport central area. We do not recommend third-party Hotel Hoppa buses.

The pool and sauna are chargeable

Pace Health Club is shared with the Radisson next door. The gym is complimentary. Access to the pool, sauna and steam room is £5 per person including one towel. That applies to children too. Extra towels are £2.50.

The detail

No fridges in bedrooms. Radisson Cozy rooms are only 16m². The shared gym can be very busy. The car park can be busy and the charging process is complicated.
