The review

The Holiday Inn Bath Road is a full-service atrium hotel that does the standard things well: a proper gym, an on-site restaurant with a sports bar, meeting rooms and Executive rooms with a few extra touches for guests who want them. The Hi Pizza restaurant is worth a mention specifically. Watching your food cooked in front of you at the bar is a genuinely pleasant option for solo travellers who do not want to eat in their room. Only part of the building is triple glazed, so if you are a light sleeper it is worth asking for a quieter room when you book. Room service stops at 23:00, so plan accordingly if you are arriving late.

Situated on Bath Road, next to its sister property Staybridge Suites.

This is a modern, full service atrium style hotel. There is a gym, restaurant, lounge bar and several meeting rooms with capacity from 20 to 80. A solid choice for both business travellers and short stays. The Holiday Inn offers onsite Park, Stay and Fly packages.

Standard rooms typically range from £90 to £140 per night. IHG member discounts and advance booking deals are usually available.

Who is this hotel best for?

  • Business travellers who need meeting room facilities and a proper workspace without the price of a 5-star property.
  • Solo travellers who appreciate a relaxed bar and restaurant rather than eating alone in their room.
  • Drivers using the Park, Stay and Fly option.
  • IHG One Rewards members who want to earn points on a straightforward mid-range stay.
  • Anyone considering Staybridge Suites next door but preferring a conventional hotel room over a suite format.

Summary

A solid full service Heathrow hotel with good facilities, modern rooms and competitive rates. Suitable for business travellers and families alike.
